Detroit-based muralist Ouizi explores the relationship between music and spirituality with a shrine-like installation for this year’s Movement Artist-in-Residence program, in-partnership with 1xRUN. The piece is intended to be an open-ended experience, leaving the audience free to immerse themselves through Ouizi’s signature artwork and masterful designs. “I do hope people feel spiritually lifted because that’s what I feel when I make the work,” she says.
